After graduating from university in 2014, I joined a leading company specializing in the production of lens cloth & bags. In the following 10 years, I have been focusing on the eyewear accessories industry. I have been studying production technology and product innovation with my team. Relying on professional and efficient service awareness, we have won recognition and high praise from customers all over the world, which makes us feel very fulfilled and love our work more.
It was not until my daughter was born in 2020 that I began to think about work and life again. On the one hand, my focus should be more on the family, and my daughter needs more company from me; on the other hand, my career has entered a bottleneck period, and the repetitive work model requires new breakthroughs and innovations. How to balance work and family and have new breakthroughs has become an urgent problem to be solved.
After thinking again and again, I quit my job in the factory and founded my own trading company LVCOLA. The factory has more advantages in production and products, but pays less attention to the market and customer needs. The factory will preconceivedly think that customers are very professional in the production process characteristics of the product. In fact, on the contrary, many customers understand the market and know what will sell well, but they are not good at production. This requires sales staff to do a good job of “translation” and listening during the sales process, to hear the real needs of customers, and to make a good connection between the factory and customers. Unfortunately, many factory sales staff cannot balance the relationship between customers and factories well due to the company policies. I have worked in the factory for nearly ten years and I know this problem well, which is one of the important reasons why I want to leave the factory. On the other hand, modern technology is developing rapidly, and the traditional exhibition model of developing customers has become increasingly weak. People prefer to develop suppliers through the Internet, which is what I want to do and what I am good at. I taught myself the course of website building and built my own website. I can make friends with customers all over the world without leaving home. This is a magical thing.
The transition from a factory to a trading company is a huge change for me. I know that in addition to having good products, the success of sales also requires understanding the needs of the market and the needs of customers, solving customers’ worries, and the cooperation can be permanent. The change of role also allows me to do what I love according to my own ideas. At the same time, I have more time to spend with my family.
As for why the company is called “LVCOLA”, it is because my daughter is named “cola”, and LVCOLA means love cola. If it weren’t for my daughter, I might not have the courage to take this step. It was she who gave me the courage and strength to do what I love. I also hope that Lvcola can continue to operate for a long time and grow with her.
In addition to the transformation of roles and company models, the products and industry have not changed. We are still engaged in eyewear accessories, mainly microfiber lens cloth and pouch, lens cleaner and so on. Because I have been engaged in these products for ten years, I understand every product detail, and I know the quality, price and delivery time of each supplier in the industry. I also understand customer needs and can connect factories and customers to ensure that orders are accurately and quickly run. When you understand the story of LVCOLA, I look forward to the opportunity to cooperate with you.
